DAAC Holdings participated at the 2009 DesignEX Melbourne held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. With the help from Hassell Architects, a phenomenal and dramatic display was created, illuminating Cascade Coil.
With only a small space to play, the Cascade Coil hung around the stand amongst a glowing floor, highlighting the flexible mesh as a must-have design element to all designers. Layered curtains of the stunning mesh hung above the stand with mirrored discs cemented in between the coil.
The stand was highly praised amongst all people who visited the exhibition; with people simply breath-taken at the phenomenal work carried out by Hassell Architects and the aesthetic design nature of the mesh.
Hassell Architects work was commended at the 2009 Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) receiving High Commendation – Retail Award, and received substantial media coverage nationally and internationally.
The Cascade Coil stand featured in Grand Stand 3, published by Frame Publishers from Amsterdam.
